This mask is everything a mask should be. I find myself looking forward to applying it. The texture is super smooth and silky and glides over the skin effortlessly.
Unlike many masks, this one doesn’t harden so your face remains comfortable and “flexible” the whole time you have it on. For me this is a major plus. I hate the concrete face feel!
Chantecaille recommends that you wash the mask off after 10 minutes using a soft cotton cloth. I would highly suggest you follow that recommendation! The first time I used this mask I decided to just rinse it off with warm water in the bathroom sink. No go! This mask is seriously hard to remove and I had to rinse…..and rinse…..and rinse….before it would wash off and I managed to make an absolute mess of my bathroom sink! Bottom line, use a cloth. It comes right off.
After removal your face feels and looks smooth, soft and satiny! Used twice a week, it really helps to calm irritated skin, shrink pores and provide a beautiful healthy clarity to the skin. This mask is a true treat!
